Positive Discipline
Two Part Workshop for Parents and Caregivers

Do you find yourself saying ‘No!’ far too often, frustrated to the point of yelling, or threatening “time outs” on a daily basis? Your toddler’s developmental stages may result in challenging behaviors, and there seem to be conflicts or limits that need setting many times an hour.
This 2-part workshop explores the ideas behind Positive Discipline for Toddlers and helps you find age-appropriate approaches that meet your toddler’s developmental needs and thought process.
Learn how to encourage cooperation and mutual respect while providing kind, firm limits for common daily struggles around sharing, hitting/biting, tantrums, dressing, mealtime, bedtime or potty-training.

You can practice effective parenting and help your children become responsible, respectful youngsters without “losing it” on a daily basis!

Part One: How toddlers think: understanding and addressing behaviors from a developmental perspective

Part Two: Common toddler situations and strategies that work
