Would you run a marathon without training for it? This workshop will prepare you for the marathon of pregnancy and labor! The Maternal Fitness Workshop provides a missing link in childbirth education – it is essential to train your body as well as your mind for pregnancy and childbirth. Through this workshop, women receive the core knowledge and skills enabling them to exercise safely throughout their pregnancy, obtain the strength for labor and delivery and get back their core muscles quickly after birth.
The six-week Maternal Fitness Workshop can be started any time in your pregnancy. This workshop will teach you: 1.) Safe exercise during pregnancy at every stage; 2.) Proprietary abdominal strengthening technique, to minimize back problems and promote effective pushing in labor; 3.) State-of-the-art techniques for strengthening and stretching the essential muscle groups (abdominal and pelvic floor)
The six-session workshop includes two lectures (partners invited) and four exercise sessions, 90 minutes (each session).
