Infant/Toddler First Aid

Does that cut need a stitch? Should we call the doctor? What about 911?

This class aims to give you the confidence you need to handle emergency situations with your infant and toddler from birth to age four. The program will cover basic first aid techniques from bumps, scrapes and bruises to serious injuries and illnesses. Skills taught will include the assessment of the child, bleeding control, burn management and medical emergency management. A portion of the program will also address injury prevention. Babies and children are not permitted to attend this class.
