Kindermusik Instructor

Isis Maternity is now seeking energetic and engaging instructors to teach Kindermusik Village, Family Time, Our Time, and Sign and Sing classes in one or all of our Isis Maternity centers in Arlington, Brookline and Needham. Class groups consist of up to 10 infants and/or toddlers and their caregivers. Current Kindermusik license and certification is required.

Duties and Responsibilities

Kindermusik instructors are responsible for class room set-up and clean-up:

• Set up class room with provided instruments/props in an inviting and exciting way.
• Teach Kindermusik curriculum using your Kindermusik Teacher’s Guide and CD (player provided).
• Clean all instruments/props after class and break down room as necessary.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Must be comfortable singing in front of group and leading the class.
• Must have a passion for working with children of a variety of ages.
• Must have an energetic, animated and engaging personality.

Credentials and Experience

• Must have current Kindermusik certification and license.
• Bachelor or equivalent experience in Music/Performance and/or Early Childhood Education a plus.
• Experienced instructors are encouraged to apply.
• Newly licensed instructors are also welcome to apply.

Special Requirements

• Must be able to teach at one of our Isis Maternity Locations.
• Some moving/lifting of furniture may be required.
