Lea W. MA

Lea has been working in the field of child development, education, parenting and early literacy for the past 15 years. Her range of experience includes preschool teaching, early intervention, working for an internet start up focused on child care and pediatrics, programming for an early literacy non-profit, corporate and foundation grant writing and fundraising, and leading parent, child and baby groups at Isis. A New Hampshire native, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Saint Anselm College and then earned her Master's degree in Child Development from Tufts University. She is also a certified Early Intervention Specialist. Lea brings her extensive knowledge of child development and special needs, and her empathy as a mother of young children to the engaging groups that she leads. Her biggest accomplishment and challenge thus far has been being a stay at home mom to her wonderful and energetic 4 1/2 year old son and 2 1/2 year old daughter.
